Finding an airport in Trip Plan is a breeze with Trip Plans Advanced Search. Choose from four different criteria and start typing and see instant results as the search algorithm matches your search terms to the database. Search “Airport Name”, “City”, “State or Province” or “Country” after which you can click on any available column to revise your search alphabetically. Finding those hard to remember airports becomes almost effortless.
Whats the great circle flight time from New York to Paris? What time do I need to take off to make it to Los Ageles from Mexico City in October? Trip Plan can figure all this for you. Set your average ground speed and add a taxi, climb and decent profile bias if you like and trip plan will calculate your flight time and distance. Quickly drag and drop airports from the groups and airports list to the plan page, calculate select next leg or swap legs makes palning a trip quick and easy.
Google Earth and Google Maps
View airports in Google Maps or Google Earth quickly and easily with one click on the airport information view. Take advantage of Google Earth’s caching ability and you can view airports later without an internet connection. See airports and visualize arrivals before you ever get in the cockpit.
Organized the way you want
Organize groups of airports the way you like them. Name your groups according to your working style, be it trip numbers or geographical locations. You can name your groups anything you like, or rename them later if you need to. Trip Plan makes it easy to find the airports you use on a regular basis.
The airport information view shows detailed airport information in six separate groups. General, Communication, Detailed Info, Location, Customs and Immigration and UTC / Daylight Savings Time. Just about anything you need to know is there from operating hours to latitude and longitude as well as airport frequencies and phone numbers.
FBO and Runway Infromation
FBO information is right at your fingertips with phone numbers addresses even SITA info if aviailable. Convienent links to email and websites that make it easy to send an email to request info or visit the FBO website. Runway information is as easy as selecting the runway your interested in. Get the pavement class or find out what approaches are available as well as lighting, length, width and wheel bearing capacity. All the go no go information that so important.
